And So It Begins! (FINAL UPDATE)

This is the last update before opening day, and I have a couple of vital things for you to be aware of before we begin.
Opening Day
I look forward to seeing you all at the opening day mass on Sunday at 9:30am here at OLS. The teachers and I will be there, and there will be a special commissioning, and a special blessing of the students. This is a special moment for your young disciples when the Church gives them special recognition. Such moments mean a lot to children. It builds their Catholic identity, and is an important part of their spiritual formation, and their faith formation. Your attendance is strongly encouraged.
REMINDER: There is a mandatory meeting at BCH for Grades 6, 7, and 8 following this mass.
"At Home Class" - What happens next?
Soon (Today or tomorrow) you'll receive an email from My Catholic Faith Delivered. That email will have your child's user name, password, and the link to the online classroom, and they may begin Chapter 1 whenever it's convenient.
The system is very user friendly but I will host a live Zoom meeting early next week to take people through the system, and to answer questions. It'll be an optional meeting.
Know that we here at the Faith Formation ministry are not administrators, we're your families' companions and guides in the faith formation of your children. Reach out to your catechists, or to me, if you need guidance with regard to the material. We're here to serve. You are not alone.

Remember, we'll be producing podcasts for various grade levels. The two available so far are:
